Please note - 2 - 5 years prior payroll processing experience is required. This opening is for a remote position with our Enterprise 24/7/365 team.

This team communicates through phone, email and chat via inbound queues to service our clients. Due to the after-hours nature of this role this position interacts with the largest variety of client types including Core payroll, Paychex Flex, Major Market Services, PEO, Time and Attendance and other product offerings. This position requires prior payroll processing experience and the availability to work weekends and holidays.

We are open to discussing variations of the shifts below to include a 4 or even 3 day schedule as long as it meets our business needs.

  • Saturday - Wednesday 9:00 am ET - 6:00 pm ET
  • Saturday - Tuesday 10:00 am ET - 9:00 pm ET
  • Saturday - Wednesday 12:00 am - 8:30 am ET
  • Sunday - Thursday 12:00 am ET - 9:00 pm ET
  • Tuesday-Saturday 04:00 pm ET - 12:30 pm ET
  • Monday - Friday 3:00 pm ET - 11:30 pm ET
  • Monday - Friday 4:00 pm ET - 12:30 pm ET
  • Tuesday - Friday 11:00 am ET - 8:00 pm ET and Saturday 8:00 am ET - 4:30 pm ET
  • Tuesday - Saturday 12:00 pm ET - 9:00 pm ET
  • Tuesday - Saturday 1:00 pm ET - 10:00 pm ET
  • Tuesday - Saturday 12:00 am ET - 8:30 am ET
  • Wednesday - Saturday 12:00 pm ET - 11:00 pm ET

If the person hired for one of the roles is in another time zone they will need adjust their schedule to meet the Eastern times.

Training will take place Monday - Friday day hours prior to working the assigned 24-7-365 work shift.

Under a minimal level of guidance and direction, provides customer service for multiple Paychex products. Ensures good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively and in accordance with Paychex policies and procedures. Proactively educates and informs clients, and initiates improvements based on client feedback. Has in-depth knowledge of at least one Paychex product. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

  • Cultivates strong relationships with clients and internal and external partners to deliver quality service
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to enhance clients' service experience
  • Maintains an advanced working knowledge of multiple Paychex products, as well as industry policies and procedures
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for process improvements
  • Demonstrates advanced skill level with systems and software packages, which may include HRIS, Salesforce, Flex, Core Advanced, and ORS
  • Serves as a mentor for less experienced teammates
  • Documents all interactions and uses the information to improve service

Qualifications

  • 2 - 5 years payroll processing experience - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
