RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking a ServiceNow Developer. In this role, the ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for providing life cycle development and testing of various aspects of the ServiceNow platform. This includes requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation support.
Responsibilities:
* The ServiceNow Developer will develop and test new modules and applications in ServiceNow including incident, problem, asset, knowledge, Service Catalog, Request, and Employee Self-Service Portal
* Advise team on integrations, development and overall ServiceNow best practices
* Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each
* Create and configure UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow
* As a ServiceNow Developer, you will develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
* Document requirements, design, test cases and results as required
REQUIREMENTS:
* Master's degree and 10 years experience or Bachelor's degree and 13 years of experience or High School diploma/GED and 19 years experience
* ServiceNow System Administration certification required
* 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst
* 5+ years of experience performing ServiceNow analysis and application development or similar responsibility
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, Release Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Self- Service Portal, etc.
* 4+ years of experience performing Change Management
* 2+ years of experience ServiceNow development with Change Management
* Prior experience participating in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production
* Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
* Knowledge of Web 2.0 Technologies (Java Scripting, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, JSON, PERL scripting, etc.)
Desired Skills:
* ITILv3 Foundations
* Experience with Siebel
* Staff training in use of ServiceNow
