Summary

We are searching for a performance-driven software developer to build, customize, and integrate software solutions including business analytics dashboards, process automation, web APIs, and more. 

This role reports directly to the IT Director and works closely with management team leaders in each department, including Marketing, Admissions, Student Services, Compliance, HR, and Finance.


Responsibilities

· Collect business requirements from key stakeholders to outline programmatic solutions for solving critical business challenges.

· Develop integration connectors between CIAT CRM, SIS, internal applications, and third-party applications to publish data and automate manual processes.

· Develop custom scripts for data migration.

· Develop PowerApps and Power Automate flows for Dynamics 365 data integration.

· Configure Power BI platform and develop custom reports for real-time KPI monitoring.

· Build and maintain executive dashboards to provide visualization for real-time operational KPIs.

· Develop and support custom registration and student forecasting solutions.

· Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing software solutions, including LMS Canvas.

· Build and deploy automated CRM workflows and business processes to ensure data integrity and automate manual processes. 

· Build and customize automated reports to support key stakeholders. 

· Serve as technical liaison to translate technical requirements for custom reporting.

· Develop technical documentation to guide software development projects, ongoing maintenance tasks, and security monitoring procedures. 

· Observe end-user feedback to recommend improvements to software solutions.

· Optimize database storage and queries for fast and efficient data reporting. 

· Produce clean, efficient code based on business specifications.

· Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to propose and develop recommend software products or paths to develop custom solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a combination of education and working experience. At least 2 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing customizations or integrations for enterprise CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in web programming languages including XML, C#, OData Web API, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and PHP.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in integrating web-based systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience in SQL query writing and flows.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity integrating data from LMS systems, such as Canvas, preferred.
  • Familiarity with XRM Toolbox preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change control management.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills. 
  • Takes a customer-service oriented approach to collaborating with internal departments 
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, assertive, and results-driven.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple and rapidly changing priorities to meet the needs and expectations of this position.

  • Proficient skills in MS Office software products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project and ability to learn additional software products.

  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours to accommodate business needs and deadlines.
  • Preferably the candidate resides in San Diego, CA and has reliable transportation to go on campus, if required.
  • We will still consider candidates who reside and can work remotely in California.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.
