Job Description
Entry-level Customer Service Representative - with transition to Sales - Insurance Agency
We are hiring for a local insurance agency seeking for an entry-level Customer Service Representative.
Training will be provided for systems and product knowledge. Top performers will be invited to join the company as licensed insurance producers, which have the potential for base wage plus commissions once fully licensed.
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Performing customer service duties, including taking calls and taking notes.
- Learn and use multiple systems for inputting data.
- Filing paperwork
- Handling payments
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sales experience, or a willingness to take on sales duties
- Exceptional organization skills
- Good note-taking ability
- Willing to take ownership of tasks and resolve problems
- Ability to multi-task
- Live or be in the process of relocating to Seattle or Shoreline, as this is not a remote position
SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS:
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, 30-minute paid lunch
- Medical, dental, vision insurance and a 401K with matching after 60 days with the company
- Several paid holidays, 2 weeks paid vacation to start.
As a small office, attitude and motivation are critical, you must be self-motivated and able to get along and work well with our team. We are team focused, and this will start as a support role to help our licensed sales staff perform their tasks. This is an entry-level position with opportunity for rapid growth.
