• *Job Summary**
Aston Carter seeks a Production Control Coordinator to optimize MRO and production planning workflows. This role requires effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and implement Material Requirements Planning (MRP) schedules for all MRO and production planning activities.
• Define company-level goals for minimum part inventory and manage applicable inventory reductions in line with financial objectives.
• Coordinate between purchasing and manufacturing/MRO on parts status and build requirements.
• *Responsibilities**
Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to meet business objectives.
Planning Expertise: Develop and present MRO shop visit demand and shop capacity ability to ensure safe customer aircraft engine operation.
Leadership Skills: Chair regular production and MRO planning meetings with purchasing, vendors, and joint venture partners.
Technical Proficiency: Maintain planning-related IT system control including shop order/work order entry and release, routing maintenance, and maintenance of operation sequencing.
• *Requirements**
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Courses: Course study including Planning Theory and inventory management is a plus.
Experience: 5 years experience in manufacturing or production management/planning.
Skills: Strong Excel and Microsoft Project skills are required.
