We are seeking dynamic high potential graduates with a keen interest in analytics, data science and media/market research, to join this exciting and continually growing Practice within the area of Brand and Marketing ROI.
Role Expectations
Success in this role requires that you will be a hands-on Insight Analyst who is comfortable working individually and as part of a team, supporting more senior colleagues with delivery of high quality analytic solutions and debriefs to our clients.
A strong performer in this role will show success in these areas:
Deliver Analytics solutions by running statistical analysis techniques on market research survey data, media data and behavioural data including:
Correlation, factor analysis, regression and Structural Equation Modelling
Development opportunities to learn more advanced modelling techniques such as Market Mix Modelling including Bayesian Dynamic Linear Modelling
Runs analysis smoothly and efficiently to an agreed statement of work:
Ensure the analytics brief is understood
Flags problems for attention and resolves quickly
Identifies potential scope creep and acts accordingly
Works with the Analytics Consultant and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality, high impact client debriefs:
Follows a creative storytelling process, thinking beyond PowerPoint
Synthesises Analytics solution outputs with other data sources e.g. media spend, survey data, purchasing, behavioural, search, social, website traffic
Designs impactful slides – with strong headings, content and conclusions
Ensures reports are checked for accuracy and clarity
Contributes to delivery of client debrief
Manages follow up analysis and ensures client satisfaction
Delivers high quality projects, right first time, on-time, with client impact:
Takes full ownership for quality of own work
Performs quality checks on own and others work as part of quality assurance processes
Delivers with excellence, keeping the client in mind always and thinking about recommendations and implications for the client
Communicates confidently with internal teams and clients
Communicates issues and key findings to other business units and Analytic Consultants
Anticipates challenges and manages changes with a solution focused approach
Juggles multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment
Has a good understanding of the client business issues and how our analytic solutions will answer their questions:
Works with the project team to deliver on client requests
Support project manager with the client relationship during projects and become a key contact point for project team
Runs ancillary analysis to support client deliverable
Ensures analysis is delivered within scope and budget
Supports Analytic Consultants in proposals and pitches when required
Identify analytical solutions from our selection of tools, to best answer client objectives
Established as a trusted Analyst with internal stakeholders/colleagues:
Keeps up to date with key analytics solutions, asking questions to gain clarity
Keeps up to date with the best ways to blend and visualise data
Demonstrates understanding of wider Analytics Practice and Kantar vision
Help colleagues to understand what analytical tools they can use in what situations, and the most appropriate way to debrief analytic solutions to get the best results
Has the confidence to challenge when appropriate
Provide Ad-hoc advice on basic data queries from client
Regularly identifies areas of continual improvement and acts to change
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Upper Second-Class Honors (2:1) undergraduate degree with some numeracy e.g. Economics, Psychology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or degree in Market Research, Marketing, Operational Research or equivalent.
Analysis skills
Proficient working with aggregated data in Excel.
Proficient creating impactful story led client facing PowerPoint debriefs.
Solid numeracy skills, basic statistical concepts, with demonstrable analytical mind.
Additional benefit: Experience working with consumer level data in SPSS, R, Excel or similar.
Additional benefit: experience with data visualization platforms e.g. PowerBI, Tableau.
Additional benefit: exposure to SPSS, R, Python, SAS, SQL, Excel VBA, BrandWatch.
Additional benefit: exposure to Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), factor analysis, regression, path analysis, A/B testing.
