BlackPoint IT Services is recruiting to fill an IT Business Development Manager (BDM) position, responsible for developing new business opportunities using their network of business contacts and building market position through referrals, prospecting, and following up on marketing-generated leads. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), day-shift, 100% remote position.
Candidates must have a good understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the sales arena specific to IT Managed Services and excellent communication skills in order to interact with BlackPoint team members, clients, and vendors.
Compensation
Base Compensation: $45,000 to $70,000, plus commission and bonuses

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage a complex sales cycle for business executives and owners presenting the value of Telecom services.
Develop a strong understanding of BlackPoint’s business strategy and target markets.
Responsible for selling Telecom services and support agreements to prospective clients.- Develop and prospect sales opportunities, as well as work company-provided sales leads.
Structure and negotiate agreements with business prospects.
Develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns.- Manage a sales pipeline and forecast.
Use CRM to track all relevant opportunities and sales activities and effectively forecast the sales pipeline.
Identify prospective client Telecom needs and match them to our service offerings.
Work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-team environment to support business goals and objectives.
Develop business cases and effectively communicate plans to decision-makers.
Manage and grow the sales funnel through various tools, including social media, trade publications, business events, business networks, and referrals.
Execute end-to-end sales activities, including prospecting, lead follow-up, opportunity qualification, and sales closing process.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with C-level resources and their staff
Energetic self-starter with the desire and ability to grow in the position
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to determine work priorities, proposals, timelines, and changing work demands
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-team environment to support the client
Education and Experience
Background in information technology required, with two+ years of Managed Service Provider (MSP) sales or pre-sales experience preferred.
BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience- Sales-related training programs focused on cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email messaging, follow-up calls, and sequencing.
Experience using Microsoft, Zoom Meetings, or similar platforms for presenting and selling in a remote environment to business owners, executives, and CFOs.
CRM Experience, ConnectWise, HubSpot, or similar platforms
Established track record selling through a complex and lengthy sales cycle with multiple influencers and decision-makers.
