The Solution Architect works with other Solution Architects to oversee end-to-end customer solution or component design and implementation, technical oversight through to transition into Production. The Solution Architect would also support new business opportunities including pre-sales support, architecture, and design support for customer(s).
What you'll be doing:
- Lead implementation of First Orion solutions and/or manages complex change that significantly impacts an existing solution and the following responsibilities:
- Ensure the individualized solution incorporates clients/products/partners and First Orion s overall business strategy and technical vision
- Technical owner in all solution communications with the client/product/partner and progress throughout the implementation phase
- Assigned to projects for an existing First Orion client/product/partner or a new logo, OR assigned to existing First Orion client/product/partner requiring on-going solution consulting for client/product/partner solution enhancements management
- Engage in project communications with the client/product/partner using a consultative approach. Anticipate obstacles and recommend solution options as it relates to the solution. Focus on client/product/partner value and satisfaction while balancing corporate objectives, feasibility and scalability of solution
- Provide direction with technical and business stakeholder requirements and overall project plan as it relates to the solution
- Maintain subject matter expertise in First Orion and industry technologies, verticals, and lines of business to help align client/product/partner business needs to products, solutions and services offered
- Identify areas of process improvement that drive profit enhancement and client/product/partner value and instill that mindset while contributing through others
- Have a strong understanding of pre-sales process focusing on scoping and estimation and be able to lead scoping and estimation efforts for new projects for existing account/new logo
What you'll need:
- Experience with REST Web Services,
- Amazon Web Services experience
- Relational Database experience with strong SQL knowledge
- 3+ years of on the job hands-on system design and/or software development experience with SDLC and Agile knowledge.
- Ability to manage the troubleshooting of issues and conduct performance tuning, logging
- Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures)
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical customers to explain First Orion Technology
Bonus Points:
- Experience in the Telecom industry
- Experience with call center operations and Integration
- Experience with Java, Scala, Go, and/or Python
