We believe when money moves, better things happen.*Relentless pursuit of better*You will be the owner of a critical applications that support our internal business units to ensure our customers are protected and to investigate potential fraud.  You will design, develop, and implement these internal applications working closely with our compliance users to gather and fully understand requirements and needs. Your tasks will be varied, coding, testing, developing, and documenting software components, automated tests, and applications.  You’ll provide feedback and request clarification as needed. You will track and resolve software defects.  You will implement version controls and ensure changes to applications are fully tracked.  You will do SQL Server maintenance and monitoring of database systems. You will work on existing systems and assist the analysts in identifying business needs, ultimately recommending appropriate technical solutions and detailing key requirements.For this role, you have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.  Equivalent experience or education is a must.  It also requires 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment owning, support and maintaining SQL Servers databases.  You will need experience in building, supporting, and changing applications built with Visual Studios, VB6, or .net.  Ideally you also have experience in working with remote desktop applications in a windows operating system.*Join us, and let’s connect the world* Western Union is transforming its business and shaping the financial services sector by driving quality, convenience, and customer service to new levels of excellence. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
