Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact for all customers coming into the showroom. They exceed the expectations of our customers at every service opportunity with every product we distribute by being the most helpful, friendly and courteous sales professionals in the industry. They work as a team with outside sales, drivers, warehouse, accounting, purchasing and management to achieve and exceed the plan for the company and branch.

- Work as a team with outside sales, drivers, warehouse, accounting, purchasing and management to achieve and exceed the Plan for the company and the branch. In short, to "Build Something Great".
- Focus and respond to all needs of the customer with a sense of urgency.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
- Sales and gross profit achievement.
- Process and follow up on quotes, special orders and stock requirements for all customers.
- Provide good clear documentation on all quotes and orders.
- Knowledgeable on all products.
- Make outbound calls & receive inbound calls.
- Returns calls promptly and professionally.
- Control expenses.
- Develop rapport with customers.
- Order entry
- Setting customer pricing into Agility & logging new customer's information.
- Maintaining machinery vendor information on the server, including price sheets and product information.
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
- Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisement.
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
- Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transaction and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at the register.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus 10 years of industry experience; or Associate's degree plus 5 years industry experience.
- Demonstrated superior problem solving skills
- Proven ability to manage detail on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent decision making skills
- Ability to interface with customers and employees fostering excellent communication skills and customer service
- Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills
- Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the internet. .
