Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget
• Assist All Savers CFO with developing and managing various aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders
• Responsible for various month end controllership tasks related to financial estimates, accurate month end balance sheet, and blackline reconciliations.
• Understand and incorporate industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions
• Establish trust via strong relationships across functions within A&I Finance and the national Finance team
• Produce ad-hoc requests for All Savers CEO and CFO as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 3+ years of financial and operational management experience
• MS Excel experience with pivot tables, v look ups, what-if analysis, scenario modeling
• MS Access and SAS experience
• Proven experience driving business performance in a corporate environment
• Work experience anticipating accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and operational issues, assessing their implications, and developing and implementing an appropriate action plan
• Financial acumen and P&L management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hyperion Essbase
• Work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment to drive revenue enhancement and expense management initiatives
• Executive presence, ability to communicate and influence with internal stakeholders
• Ability to succeed in a virtual environment

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
