Job Description:The Intelligence Group at Leidos is currently seeking a Desk Officer/Staff Operations Officer for a program supporting an Intelligence Community customer. The successful candidate will work as a member of a government-contractor team supporting the counter proliferation and counter WMD mission. Work will be performed in a fast-paced, high-energy environment inside a government facility. Candidates must have a TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities
Apply advanced knowledge and expertise of operations, tradecraft, and mission priorities to provide strategic guidance and operational case management
Engage offices within the customer organization to address mission requirements
Draft comprehensive, high-quality reports in support of mission objectives
Relay pertinent information to relevant stakeholders by collaborating closely with team members and provide briefings to senior officials when necessary
Possess knowledge of and experience with the various intelligence disciplines and the Intelligence Community
Required Qualifications
Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of relevant working experience OR 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree
3 years of experience supporting an Intelligence Community customer
Familiarity with a variety of writing styles and classified client databases, including specific case management tools
Strong communication, briefing, and writing skills; ability to communicate in a professional manner in person, by telephone, and through written correspondence
Demonstrated experience writing high-quality reports
A personality that is compatible with working in a small team environment
An inquisitive nature; a drive to learn and succeed
Possess working-level ability with all components of Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
1 years of experience conducting analysis of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and/or supporting counter-proliferation efforts
Demonstrated regional and/or functional expertise or a working knowledge of high priority countries of interest to the United States Government
Any level of proficiency with the Korean language
