JOB OVERVIEW
A Business Analyst is the voice of the customer and an integral part of our software development lifecycle.
The business analyst will be a member of the analytics team, with the primary aim of developing a pipeline of ideas to be solved by Net Health’s data science group using cutting edge machine learning technology. Analytics products and features serve existing and future customers; our customers use one or more products and modules configurable via the platform. Business Analysts must become subject matter experts on the company
products, initiatives, and datasets and help in creating the ideation pipeline to drive the company’s analytics roadmap. In addition to experience as a Business Analyst, experience with electronic health records and clinical datasets will be highly valuable to the role.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Have such a strong understanding of the product and its business needs to enable rapid development decisions
  • Be a data-driven thinker! Have a solid understanding of the company’s datasets and data inventory across product lines
  • Engage with our customers; understand their workflows and how our software is used in their environments
  • Related expectations include customer site visits, leading usability testing and attending client conferences
  • Create a pipeline of ideas/problems that would lend themselves to solutions using machine learning technologies
  • Related responsibilities include defining use cases, collaborating with User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) engineers, engaging stakeholders to ensure the best product offering, using techniques such as storyboarding, and using acceptance criteria when appropriate
  • Work with technical writing and product marketing to define feature functionality and impact to end users
  • Contribute to creation of product-related assets and training for client-facing teams
  • Measure adoption and utilization of product features

QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Education – Bachelors or equivalent years experience
  • Undergraduate degree in business or information technology preferred
  • 2 years in a Business Analyst role, or transferable skills
  • Working knowledge of business analysis concepts, tools, and techniques
  • Proven ability to practice a variety of techniques to ensure user needs are met
  • Knowledge of database driven dynamic web application development
  • 1 years of experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
