DUTIES:
Participate in the Research and Development of innovative endoscope technology.
Hands on experience in electromechanical assembly.
Using Solidworks, design 3D models of endoscope parts, tools and fixtures as per assembly requirements following GD&T principles.
Deep understanding of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for each design and communicate with vendors on part specification and fabrication and perform QA on incoming parts.
Understanding of basic engineering materials, Manufacturing processes and Prototyping.
Collaborate with assembly technicians for design changes and creative problem solving, with failure analysis and root cause investigation.
Experience working in technical project groups in a professional environment.
Detail orientated and capable of handling multiple assignments at once and adapt to changes quickly.
Prepare necessary documentation. (Work Instructions, DHR, QA checklist, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of experience. (Master's degree preferred.)
3+ years of experience working with Solidworks required.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
H1b visa can be sponsored.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
