We are seeking candidates for the position of Senior Accountant to support our global controllership function as well as our financial operations in Asia, EMEA, Americas and Japan. Successful candidates will possess strong analytical and technical skills and will report to the Assistant Global Controller of SCIEX.

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate consolidated information to support internal reporting requirements as well as monthly, quarterly and annual Corporate reporting requirements:
  • Assist in the monthly global close and consolidation, including preparation of consolidating entries.
  • Prepare monthly financial package for the senior finance team and Danaher Corporate.
  • Analyze consolidated financial statements and monthly operating results of each region.
  • Input monthly/quarterly Danaher statistics, leadership metrics, and supplemental files.
  • Provide timely communications to regional finance leads, including communication of the monthly close calendar and related Flash reviews, to meet close deadlines.
  • Monthly reporting on functional indirect spending - T&E, consulting, recruiting.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• BS/BA in Finance and or Accounting, CPA is highly preferred or willing to attain CPA
• 3+ years of increasing responsibility in finance and accounting, preferably in a multinational, publicly-traded organization possessing manufacturing operations or public accounting.
• Must have strong auditing and corporate accounting experience as well as internal controls
• Big 4 Consulting experience is preferable
• Ability to work in a hybrid work environment . Partial remote work as well as site based in Framingham MA ( 2-3 days per week )
• Ability to travel both domestic and international up to 10%

• Will have the presence to challenge the status quo, elevate issues and keep the Director, Assistant Global Controller advised of current and evolving matters.
• Must be capable of operating with moderate level of guidance and direction.
• Can balance the demands of financial accuracy with operational effectiveness.
• Will possess solid oral/written communication skills and strong analytical skills.
• Strong use of financial reporting tools, Excel, SAP, Oracle etc
