Salary Range: Based on experience
As a Senior Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to design, test, and implement new and updated software for our cutting-edge strength training system.
Essential Functions:
- Develop secure APIs using modern frameworks such as ASP.NET Core /NodeJs/ Python
- Contribute ideas and help to refine use cases and acceptance criteria
- Evaluate new libraries, frameworks, and services for suitability
- Build event-driven services driven by message brokers such as Apache Kafka
- Maintain high levels of automated unit and integration test coverage.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Docker and Ansible
Education and Experience:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
- You’ve designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of experience with modern languages and frameworks, such as ASP.Net or Python or Nodejs or Golang
- 2+ years working in cloud environments, preferably Azure
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AQS, or Azure Service Bus
- A self-starter with a strong desire to increase efficiencies and make an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team
- Background with modern development and build strategies such as microservices, containers, continuous integration and delivery, unit testing, test-driven development, static analysis, automated integration tests and refactoring
