Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions group is currently seeking a Global SIOP and Materials Manager to join our team. This position can work from an existing Eaton office or be remote based.


Position Overview:


The primary function of this role is to drive deployment of SIOP processes and tools across GEIS global organization to focus on the ties to Material Management and inventory optimization, while driving digitization and standardization. The global SIOP processes and tools will serve to increase the depth and breadth of the SIOP process within the organization, ultimately to provide each business and step owner with information to monitor the financial and operational activities of the business. This position will oversee roughly $220M of working capital and have an impact on profit plan of $1.8B in sales.


Specific tasks associated include: Partner with SIOP Step Owners across all levels of the organization to provide analytic services, support and assist in the development and execution of SIOP processes and tools, oversee/build working relationship with the Pune analytic team, participate and support special projects and ad-hoc data analysis upon request on an as needed basis. Will serve as the liaison to the Global Finance team for the IRR SIOP step and assist in Profit Plan and Strategic Planning based off of forecast modeling to better support Supplier Capacity and overall supply base resiliency to reduce supply chain disruption and achieve business growth.

In this function you will:




  • Support and work to enhance current SIOP processes and tools globally with focus on digitization and standardization.




  • Support manufacturing sites in growing maturity and stability with forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning within SAP.




  • Develop standard work - including SAP screens and work instructions designed for new users and role continuity, aligned to material management policies geared toward maturation.




  • Drive planning parameter maturation: policy development, work instructions, training, and auditing via the MRP Monitor or other appropriate tool.




  • Deploy cycle counting policy and work instructions; train plants and develop plan to eliminate future physical inventories




  • Develop Aged WIP white paper or policy; develop data set for sites and drive reduction activities.




  • Develop direction and data sets on work order management - OTR, OTC, early/late completion




  • Drive improvements on raw material planning and determining forecasted receipts.




  • ERP Health; following deployment of standards and policies, establishing a tool and schedule for verification of sites' data.




  • The subject matter expert to the relationship between finished good forecast and conversion to raw material, aligning future sourcing strategies to profit plan.




  • Maintain supply resiliency to each region and be responsive to requests and specific regional needs for support in SIOPs and Materials deployment.

Qualifications


Required (Basic) Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university




  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in Material Management using an ERP/MRP system




  • Minimum of two (2) years experience managing a supply chain team




  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.




  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering




  • MBA in Supply Chain




  • 7 years in a solid manufacturing background environment with an emphasis in material, purchasing, supply chain improvement and production leadership experience




  • APICS, CPIM, CSCP or CPM certification




  • SAP/SAP BW experience




  • LEAN implementation experience

The expected annual salary range for this role is $110,600 - $147,500 a year.
