Responsibilities
As a cloud developer in an Agile development environment, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of cloud applications across the full stack. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Performing senior software engineering tasks related to the functional and technical design of the application scope entrusted to your team
- Participating in the technical and architectural decision-making process with project stakeholders
- Developing front-end web solutions and user interfaces based on product specifications and/or marketing designs.
- Developing responsive web pages for cross-platform rendering, including mobile devices
- Developing web services, applications and back-end databases
- Developing automated tests
- Deploying solutions to the target environment.
- Documenting solutions and processes within the scope of your development activities
- Committing to a culture of continuous improvement for your team:
- improving existing applications through performance enhancements, code refactoring and bug fixes
- Providing senior-level guidance and support to other team members
- participating in code reviews
- staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in a full-stack web development role
- Experience developing web application software, including all layers of the web stack
- Experience with HTML/CSS/Typescript/JavaScript
- Experience with React
- Source code control experience, in particular Git and GitLab
- API development
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment of cloud applications (CI/CD)
- Experience with object-oriented design and OO design tools
- Familiarity with all aspects of the software engineering lifecycle (design, coding, revision control, bug tracking, etc.)
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Strong desire and proven track record working in a team environment
The following skills are a plus:
- Cloud infrastructure development in Azure and AWS in a server less application
- Data analytics
- Exposure to Design Patterns, Unit testing, and test-driven development
- Experience with Angular
- Kotlin experience
- IoT experience
- Agile techniques
- C#/.NET (IoT data collection agent)
