What you'll achieveAs a Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will be responsible for turning complex business challenges into end-to-end solutions that transform our business. This role requires a strong background in security as it relates to platform infrastructure, application security, and other aspects of network/cloud infrastructure security. The Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer will collaborate with other technical SME's and clients to develop solutions that will ensure users and systems are properly authenticated and authorized and align to Dell's security standards.
You will:
Maintain strong knowledge of Cloud solutions, collect requirements, design, and implement security-minded Identity Management solutions and Authentication technologies (Federation, MFA, Passwordless authentication and Conditional Access) across the Enterprise
Participate in transformation workshops across security, network, application, authentication, and Security Architecture teams to design and plan for the next generation of IAM technologies
Design, implement, and deploy cloud security systems to support and meet business needs
Design and implement Secure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Solutions (covering Identity, Networking, detection, Storage, Containers) in a hybrid cloud environment
Guide the definition and implementation of cloud security technology direction, standards, and policy across Dell
12+ years of professional experience in a Cybersecurity engineering role with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Expert knowledge on Azure AD, Azure Conditional access, Azure Identity protection as well as Azure B2B and other cloud-based Identity providers
Proficient knowledge of modern Authentication methods, standards, and protocols such as SAML, RBAC/ABAC, OAuth/Open ID Connect, 2FA/MFA, adaptive/contextual/passwordless authentication, FIDO/WebAuthN, and practical experience in integrating applications with complex business/security requirements with different identity audiences using risk and context driven MFA
Advanced hands-on security engineering experience (with focus on access protection) in the development, deployment and sustainment of AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud Platforms using modern automation tools such as API , scripts, CI/CD
Strong familiarity with security issues surrounding Identity Access Management
Desirable Requirements
One or more information security certifications (ISC2, ISACA, SANS, AWS, Azure, EC-Council, etc.)
Excellent analytical skills, ability to understand complex business issues and translate to solutions based on both quantitative and qualitative analysis
