Here's how a(n) Corporate Accountant for our US Head Office office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Assists with assembly of information for internal and external financial reporting requirements.
• Assists with fixed asset accounting, preparation of financial statement footnotes, and 1099 reporting.
• Prepares annual Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) rate calculations for PCL s US Operations.
• Provides management with ad hoc analysis and other reconciliations.
• Prepares/maintains current process documentation for the accounting and finance department.
• Compiles data for various accounting research projects.
• Prepares government survey files.
• Prepares 401K audit materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of progressive accounting experience required.
• Postsecondary degree in accounting required.
• Active pursuit of accounting designation considered an asset.
• Knowledge of government legislation and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently and perform with a high degree of accuracy.
• Highly committed to meeting all deadlines and goals.
• Flexible to adapt to evolving scope of duties.
• Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and desire to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicable software is an asset.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software, JDE E1 experience an asset.

The salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $80,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
