RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Developer - REMOTE

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Responsible for the design, development, configuration, and testing of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) applications. Develops and configures automation processes as per the technical requirements and specifications for the application. Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or automation of existing processes. Troubleshoots and resolves testing issues.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the design, development, configuration, and testing of RPA applications.
• Works on developing and configuring automation processes as per the requirements and specifications for the application.
• Identifies business operations processes that are feasible for automation
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
• Refers to senior level staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.
• Provides assistance to junior level staff with general tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Escalates issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Computer Science degree helpful but not required
• Experience developing solutions with UiPath is desired; UiPath certification a plus

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• 2 - 5 years' related experience in .NET/ VB or VBA/ PowerShell with excellent programming skills or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• General awareness of SQL, HTML, JavaScript, or related programming languages
• Excellent communication skills - should be able to explain the technical aspects to the business and relevant stakeholders
• Programming experience and technical analysis and design responsibility.
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work creatively and independently in a problem-solving environment.
• Solid experience with programming tools and structured development and testing methodologies. Knowledge of standard languages, coding methods and operational requirements in a client-server environment.
