SOX Controls Business Systems Analyst - NO C2C
Fully remote but must work PST time zone hours.
Contract length : 5 months with possibility if extending to 2 years.

SMCI is seeking a Principal Business Systems Analyst - (SOX) in the US region to join our Automation group to help drive productivity through the company leveraging technology to unlock opportunities to stop, optimize processes and then automate as appropriate.
Required skills :
Focus and Responsibilities :
The goal of this consultant role is to understand existing business processes across several departments; and create and validate SOX compliance business process models so that the current processes may be analyzed, improved, and automated. Automation solutions may include AI, Intelligent Process Automation or RPA. Consultant will engage with business teams within various groups including Operations, Finance, Clinical Development, HR and others.
This role requires traditional Business Analyst skills including gathering requirements, business process modeling, process design and strong documentation skills.

- 4-5 years of focused SOX compliance and process mapping is required
- Former Pharma and familiar with GxP is highly requested
- Business Process Modeling and Process Design
- Tools - Smartsheet, MIRO, JIRA, Lucid Chart (or Visio)
- O365 - PowerPoint; Outlook, etc.

Experience :
- Strong SOX experience with Financials as a focus for ERP Systems (SAP) will be required experience.
- Any automation solutions experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience in an Agile-Scrum environment is required.
- Individual needs to be able to work alone and within a team very effectively with minimum guidance.
- Attend daily scrum calls, and meetings and provide regular updates to project team.
- Role requires high engagement with multiple business partners, and project team members.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
