TransCore, a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Business Analyst to join our team in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • ServiceNow User Experience. The work includes:
    • Producing and Formatting Reports
    • Formatting and Publishing Knowledge Base Articles
    • Database entry in ServiceNow updating various fields in asset records.
  • Technical Reading and Writing ability to develop requirements from RFP documents and ability to write documents responding to developed requirements.
  • Microsoft Office experience proficiency in the use of Excel and Word.
  • Ability to tabulate, compile, and enter data into ServiceNow.


Required Skills & Experience


  • Computer experience with Windows/Office, ServiceNow Experience.


Knowledge: Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.


Job Complexity: Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.


Supervision: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.


Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
