JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs intermediate technical work troubleshooting, installing, and repairing hardware, software, networking, and peripheral components, providing customer support, maintaining digital files and records, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Computer Operations Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will provide quality professional support to the City's internal users. This includes configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of hardware, operating systems, and applications. They will be responsible for receiving and responding to customer requests via the ticketing system, phone, and email. They should be proficient using Microsoft Windows and Office. Must possess excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills, and have the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

SPECIAL NOTE: May be subject to weekends and call back. Must have the ability to pass Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) background investigation for public safety.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates/Technical in computer science, information technology, or related field and considerable experience in data migration, software integration, and network administration with experience in automation and scripting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Oracle Certified Cloud Professional preferred. Obtain National Incident Management (NIMS) Training based on assignment. Must meet and maintain all training and education requirements for the position.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License of appropriate class.
The City reserves the right to consider only the most highly qualified applicants. The succeeding examination processes may be required: training and experience, testing, panel interview, fingerprint identification, employment eligibility verification (EEV) requirements, personnel evaluation profile (PEP), polygraph test, background investigation and alcohol/drug screening test. Appointment subject to successful background investigation and City paid post employment medical examination after offer of employment has been made.
