Senior Programmer with GREAT Benefits

We are looking for a Senior Programmer to assist the MIS group in the day-to-day maintenance of custom applications and reports, properly test and push out changes to user base, and develop new applications and reports in conjunction with the MIS business analysts.

We maintain a third-party Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for several global business units. Reports and custom applications are deployed to support the business in areas the ERP does not cover.

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000

Requirements

• Proficient in .NET programming
• Proficiency with SQL (MS SQL preferred)
• Experience with BI tools (Microsoft BI preferred)
• Experience with an ERP
• Understanding of the manufacturing environment
• Understanding of systems development lifecycle methodologies
• Confidence in public settings (meetings/development sessions)
• Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently without oversight

Responsibilities

• .Net Programming
  • Maintain and update existing applications that support the companies ERP operations
  • Design and write new applications as needed by the company
• SQL report writing
  • Proficiency in report applications
    • Crystal Reports
    • Windows Report Server
  • Ability to maintain existing reports
  • Write new reports as needed
• Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Maintain existing BI visualizations
  • Develop new visualizations
• Level 1 help desk assignments
  • Review tickets and assign tickets to support staff
  • Resolve if capable
• Write technical documentation
  • In house how-tos / guides for the user base
  • Support documentation for MIS team members

Qualifications

• A BS/BA/AA degree from an accredited college with a focus in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, data visualization or a related field

OR

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on ERP / MES / WIP applications.
