Senior Financial Analyst (Grants and Sponsored Projects) 100% Remote, Most States Eligible
This Senior Analyst role serves in Providence s central Office of Sponsored Projects.
They are responsible for coordination of post-award activities for assigned grants and funded projects and associated program support needs.
Specifically, they provide guidance on compliance with federal and non-federal regulatory requirements while identifying needs for policy and process updates; track and report performance metrics for the Office of Sponsored Projects to leadership; and manage transactional processes such as project setup, data review, financial entries, A/R, and A/P.Caregivers in this position demonstrate high level analytical abilities, are able to work independently when necessary, exercise a high degree of professional judgement, and are able to communicate complex information (e.g.
financial and grant compliance) in a clear, concise and professional manner.
Appropriate management of sensitive information is expected, as is knowledge of grant compliance, especially Federal guidance.
Required qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance.
Or equivalent education/experience+ 5 years Analytical and business experience (4 years of directly related experience may substitute for the required degree).
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration.+ 2 years Healthcare related experience.+ Preferred upon hire:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)+ Preferred upon hire:
Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
