Reporting to the Director - IT Architecture and Evolution, the Technician - Information Technology and Operational Support will participate in office automation support and operations site equipment support.

Your day-to-day!
- Configure, install and test networking and security equipment, servers, workstations and software for operations sites;
- Plan, collaborate and coordinate the installation and support of information technology equipment with the managers of the operations sites;
- Participate in the respect of the company's standards as well as the respect of computer security during installations and configurations;
- Ensure periodic upgrades and monitoring of the sites' computer systems (updates, backups, log verifications, etc.);
- Provide support to site users by making interventions on site or remotely;
- Perform level 1 and 2 support on site servers, including server installation and maintenance;
- Manage user access and accounts as well as security maintenance in accordance with corporate policies;
- Perform the necessary level of research for problem resolution including contacting vendors;
- Participate in the evolution of the infrastructure and various projects when necessary;
- Actively collaborate with other teams in the various departments of the company during incidents or problems.
- College degree in computer science or a combination of equivalent education and experience;
- 3 5 years experience in technical support of Windows environments;
- Knowledge of servers and their main management tools (Active directory, WSUS, GPO, DFS, etc.);
- Experience in managing a wireless network (controllers, security, SSID), is an asset;
- Good knowledge of firewall and VPN tunnel management, is an asset;
- Ability to be organized and rigorous;
- Strong sense of customer service and orientation;
- Ability to prioritize work;
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
- Available for occasional evening and weekend work.
- The position will be based at the company s San Diego (California) office;
- This position is a S3 level.
