Unique Responsibilities:

The EAV is a platform that enables Plans to drive inbound and outbound claim information transmissions between NASCO and Ancillary Vendors in support of Combined or Co-mingled Medical/Ancillary Service Vendors. TheEAV (Enhanced Ancillary Vendor) involves integration with third party vendors (PBMs (Pharmacy Benefits Manager), Hearing, Vision, Dental) - responsibilities include developing requirements and implementing EAV changes in support of this.

Responsibilities:
- Develop requirements, test planning, review design, support testing for base accumulation/cross-accumulation functionality implementation
- Ensure quality of project deliverables/artifacts by conducting phase reviews and providing approval
- Provide input and approval for project requirements, testing efforts, and production-readiness
- Partner with other NASCO departments to ensure that team aligns with organizational objectives
- Assist analysts with issue resolution throughout the project life cycle
- Assess impacts to customers business due to changes
- Develops or facilitates the development of high-level and detailed business requirements for complex efforts
- Assess technical design from vendor for traceability to business requirements
- Assess technical designs from vendor for thoroughness, impacts to system including performance and capacity
- Assess impacts to system, including infrastructure, due to changes
- Collaborate as needed with project managers to establish project timelines, particularly for high visible and sensitive projects
- Lead efforts to implement process improvements internally and sometimes externally with Plans
- May develop proposals for management team or Plan as needed
- Build relationships with internal and external customers and peers
- Participate in project meetings as needed, which may include meetings with customers and/or management
- Communicate to management opportunities for improving NASCO and customer performance
- Provide coaching and mentoring for less experienced analysts
- May assist in conducting interviews for new team positions and contract positions and participate in hiring decisions
- Participates in the on boarding on new resources to the team

Minimum Requirements

* Must be a senior BA with extensive experience supporting all phases of the project:
- Requirements gathering
- Design Support
- Test Planning and support

*Must have experience with Accumulations, cross-accumulations between multiple systems and across PBM (Pharmacy Benefits Manager)
- Experience with dealing with third party vendor

*Ten plus yearsexperience in a related technical position
- Previous experience participating in large software development or implementation projects
- Previous experience in developing and implementing software testing strategies
- Previous experience working with customers and end users
- Previous experience in working with software vendors or in implementing vendor custom developed applications

*Strong BA skills:
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint software tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop good, effective working relationships with customers through minimal contact
- Exceptional attention to detail
