Medical Billing and Certified Coding Specialist - Mokena IL

CMIS, a fast-paced multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center is seeking an experienced medical billing and certified coding specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team.  Must be able to read and interpret op reports, understands concept of bundling and heeds government regulations and payer guidelines.  Responsible for accurate coding of CPT and ICD-10 codes for all scheduled procedures.  HST experience preferred, but not required.  Must be detail-oriented and the ability to complete work with minimal supervision and can work both independently and in a team environment.  Prints and electronically mails or sends insurance claims, accurate and efficient processing of charge posting, billing, and coding.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Assists with other RCM team administrative duties as assigned.  Must have basic computer, office equipment, and multiple software application skills and know how to access payer websites and coding resources.  Competitive salary based on experience.  Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(K) benefits package.
