Seriously. + A stable, established, and growing business + A leadership team focused on your professional growth and development Job Description You are responsible for managing the lifecycle financial operations for a federal shared services center, including maintaining the cost model, establishing interagency agreements, developing budgets, coordinating the procurement of required products and services, and monitoring expenses and customer invoices. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst with comprehensive knowledge of cost modeling, interagency agreements, procurement, and financial systems. You must be a self-starter, able to work independently and have the communication skills that are needed to accomplish objectives and meet deadlines with the support of a cross-functional team. What you get to do every day: + Maintain cost models for shared services offerings + Create and modify Interagency Agreements for Shared Services customers + Review and analyze budget vs. actual, projections, revenue, and total costs for individual customers and the overall program + Collaborate with budget operations, financial operations, and procurement services to manage and support all phases of the expense financial planning process + Perform quality reviews of invoices sent to customers to ensure accuracy and transparency + Collaborate with project managers and technical services teams to maintain current and projected program budget execution data + Maintain and compile data used for monthly executive financial meetings and ad-hoc budget staff requests + Maintain processes, procedures, and templates to support the financial operations lifecycle + Facilitate and coordinate status meetings with budget and finance operations staff + Facilitate and coordinate finance meetings with shared services customers when necessary + Improve financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to federal leadership + Maintain and develop Standard Operating Procedures to enhance efficiencies. Qualifications Active Secret clearance required What skills are required? + Bachelor-s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or another related field + 5+ years of experience in budget operations, financial planning and analysis, financial operations or another related field + Experience with processing and tracking Commitments, Obligations, and Expenditures (COEs) + Experience collaborating with Contracting Officers to procure products and services from commercial providers + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines + Excellent people skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment + Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive financial information + Must be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation + Must be proficient in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI What is ideal? + Certified Government Financial Managers (CGFM), preferred + Experience supporting federal shared service centers or large federated enterprise programs preferred. The salary range for this position is typically $100-135k.
