Talent 101 is seeking a team of qualified General Clerk who not only possesses the passion required to be successful but also has a positive attitude, confidence, and the ability to function well within a busy environment. The opportunity is located in Dallas, TX and the role is a 12 month+ contract.
The position is full-time onsite, not remote.
As a General Clerk, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Order, stock, and inventory supplies (through ongoing management of inventories, reorder/discard as necessary)
- Mail sorting and distribution.
- Update mailbox assignments as needed.
- Copy services when requested
- Shipping services when requested
- Dock access and duties (e.g., bringing up deliveries)
- Distributing paper to networked printers
- Law library responsibility (see detail below)
- Storage room responsibility (see detail below)
Law Library responsibility detail:
- Updating print subscriptions with supplements
- Cataloging and distributing new print editions
- Checking in/out and shelving/re-shelving publications
- Routing of print subscriptions (this may not be needed going forward since people have now lived without it for 15+ months now)
- Providing copies of articles from print (again, this is rare, but could be handled by the person in this position)
- Returning items to publishers when needed (sometimes publishers send books or items we do or dont request, so they have to be sent back if we decide we dont need them)
Storage area responsibility detail:
- Assist Office Manager with the initial identification of surplus inventory
- Clean out storage areas and move surplus items to identified recycling bins on the dock
- Work to organize and maintain the storage areas once surplus items have been removed
- Oversee the 3 major storage areas and ensure organization of items placed in these areas
- Assist Law Dept IT with the management of equipment inventory (monitors, printers, printer toner, etc.) when requested
Applicants must be at least 18 years or older, must be willing to take a drug test and background check as part of the selection process and must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
