Job Title : IT User Experience Designer

Location: REMOTE (Office location- Urbandale, IA, 50322)

Type: ONLY on W2 contract (NO C2C)

Length: 1 year

Pay Rate –Open for discussion

Note: We do sponsor new H-1B and transfer H-1B

Candidate will work remotely.

As a User Experience (UX) Designer, you will support projects of moderate complexity through the development of User Interaction task flows, wireframes, prototypes through to final production for new products and the resolution of issues with current production products.? In addition, you will:

• Apply knowledge of usability, human factors, and UI processes to create intuitive user experiences and assist in pre and post-development usability testing

• Create and maintain project and overall system design artifacts

• Work with multiple groups across the company as a team member or consultant including development teams to ensure that new features are implemented according to specification

• Develop and implement process improvements and enhancements

• Research and apply learnings of highly automated systems

What Skills You Need

• Two or more years of UX design experience

• Proficiency with at least two design and rapid-prototyping tools, such as: Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, InVision, or Figma to create user interfaces

• Experience thinking in terms of holistic design, apply strategic thinking and business goals to design work, focus on usability, and understand aesthetic values

• Experience translating customer needs into design and articulate that design to technical and non-technical team members

• Experience transitioning easily between multiple projects and aesthetics

• Experience communicating and presenting designs effectively for various audiences

What Makes You Stand Out

• A strong portfolio demonstrating ability to prototype and design elegant UX solutions to complex user problems

• Two or more years of experience with Sketch and InVision

• Two or more years of experience understanding and applying visual brand guidelines/style guides

• Two or more years of experience influencing stakeholders to drive an intentional design philosophy

• Experience designing for construction or agriculture in-vehicle interfaces and/or customer-facing displays

• Experience with agile development methodologies

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Degree in the following: Bachelor's degree in a Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interaction / Visual Design, or related field discipline or equivalent experience
