What you ll achieve
As a Senior Principal Software Engineer on the PowerFlex Software Defined Storage Development Team, you will work on our next generation management and orchestration software. Designing and developing cloud native micro services to run on a Kubernetes platform.
You will:
Take a lead role in the preparation, review and evaluation of software requirements and specifications
Lead role in designing and coding micro services per specification
Collaborate across the team on APIs and service integration
Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes
Lead a scrum team throughout the complete software development lifecycle

Essential Requirements
BS in computer science or related degree. 13+ years of software development experience
Strong Java skills; Spring Boot; Kubernetes; Micro Services
Experience with operating systems; virtualization; firmware; databases; tools and utilities as applicable
Experience leading design and defining software architectures
REST APIs and message brokers such as ActiveMQ
Desirable Requirements
Go, Ruby, Python, Ansible, HTML, JavaScript, Angular
MS Computer Science or any related degree
