Location: This person may work remote from any location with occasional travel required. Expected to visit HQ in Columbus, Georgia, at least quarterly. 


 As a member of the Omegafi Professional Services team, the Business Analyst (BA) is a project-based role, focused on the elicitation of Customer User Stories, their documentation and analysis, and the declarative configuration of the Omegafi solution that results from this documentation. Note that the BA is the owner of all User Stories for a given implementation, whether the Story work is declarative or custom.    


 


The Business Analyst collaborates with the Project Manager and Solution Architect roles, to ensure adherence to contracted scope and budget, and to affirm their solution design and configurations have been optimized for their customer’s requirements and business operations. The BA also drives data migration activities, including object mapping and data validation (post migration). This role is further responsible for documenting a customer’s full Omegafi’s configuration/solution, providing demonstrations of configurations/solutions, and for end-User training and supporting the effort through deployment and go live.  


 


Responsibilities : 


Business Analysis – 30% of time 



  • Build knowledge of evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and implementing solutions. 

  • Conduct meetings and presentations with assistance to share ideas and findings. 

  • Work closely with internal team members to understand priorities and plan solution delivery. 

  • Design, develop and maintain documentation of assigned projects.  



  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs to deliver functional requirements, use cases, GUI screen and interface designs. 

  • Act as a liaison between business units and technology teams.  


 


 


Project Management – 25% of time 



  • Lead meetings with customers and/or their vendors to extract and document requirements. 

  • Provide ongoing updates and track progress throughout project. 

  • Provide timely consultation for problem resolution. 


 


 


Development Requests – 25% 



  • Assist with routing incoming requests for development.  

  • Field general customer inquiries received via phone, email and ticket. 

  • Create and follow issue resolution scripts. 

  • Research issues and questions using available information resources. 



  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customers with guidance. 

  • Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure of all inquiries received. 

  • Through testing and other means, ensure final product development work correctly meets initial business requirements. 

  • Effectively communicate required changes to the development team. 


 


Customer Onboarding – 20% of time 



  • Manage documentation and deliverables 

  • Conduct application training  

  • Facilitate import/export/transformation of data including preparation & formatting, aggregation, transportation, logging and auditing. 

  • Assist with defining metrics to ensure continuous improvements in the position and processes.  



  • Manage the QA phase of client onboarding. 


 


Requirements:  



  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technology related field.  

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.  



  • Ability to acquire strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Critical thinking.  

  • Ability to learn database concepts and web-based paradigms  

  • Ability to develop relationships with client personnel to foster ties and increase client satisfaction.  

  • Ability to manage customer expectations effectively.  

  • Ability to elicit customer and product needs to determine effective solutions with guidance.   



  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.  


 


Preferred  



  • Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development; JIRA and Confluence  

  • Knowledge of business analysis and/or quality assurance field.  



  • Knowledge of SQL, PHP, Ruby, HTML, XML

Salary Range Disclosure 


The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more. 


Salary Range
