The opportunity

This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and develop your skillset to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital landscape. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our Life Sciences clients' teams, and we'll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive with cloud technologies in this ever-changing industry.

Your key responsibilities

You will focus on the evaluation, strategy, design, customization and optimization of Life Sciences Digital and Cloud Technology based solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client's digital vision and strategy to life.

• Working in project teams through agreed upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, business cases, risk analysis, customization, testing, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle
• Leading team members in the development of applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the Cloud Technology market for Life Sciences clients
• Being proactive and driven to learn emerging technologies and business best practices
• Teaming with client technology professionals, and third-party strategic alliances
• Developing long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
• Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree and 9 or more years of work experience in consulting or project-based environments.
• 9 or more years of technical experience in at least three of the following areas: application development, data and analytics, network topologies and configuration, virtualization, storage management, security, regulatory compliance, operations management, cloud technology delivery, and enterprise data migration.
• Experience building and deploying Cloud use cases within Pharma and Healthcare
• Point of view on use cases within Life Sciences Commercial, R&D or Manufacturing
• Understanding of the data ecosystem across the Health sector, including Payor and Provider; and across Pharma within the Life Sciences sector
• 7 or more years of technical & hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure (experience with platforms such as AmazonWeb Services (AWS), Google Cloud Services, IBM cloud services is optional).
• Experience developing data pipelines and integrating enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, QMS, LIMS, MES and manufacturing shopfloor applications.
• Experience developing containerized applications and leveraging microservices architecture.
• Experience working with Life Sciences datasets such as IQVIA, Kantar, Symphony, Komodo and others.
• Experience working with validated applications in the Lifesciences sector and understanding of CFR part 11 requirements.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing and delivering cloud infrastructure solutions in fast paced Agile enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with DevOps tools and processes (creating CI/CD Pipeline) and utilization of tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket.
• Experience in scripting languages like (Python, Bash and PowerShell).
• Experience with hypervisors such as VMware or Hyper V in Windows Server or Linux environments.
• Proficiency with IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM templates)
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
• Confidence to lead meetings with client sponsors, management, and individual contributors.
• Availability for up to 60% travel

Ideally, you'll also have

• Degree emphasis in Business with MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Finance; Master's degree in one of these areas preferred
• Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $163,400 to $373,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $196,100 to $424,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, youll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
