Electric-Substation Project Manager
Position Summary:
The Substation Project Manager will provide overall engineering and project management leadership for substation engineering and design projects for Cordoba client in San Diego County.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, direct project team/s to achieve acceptable scope of work, schedule milestone targets and within proposed budgets on projects within client expectations deliverables.
All projects must adhere to client standards and safety protocols.
20-50% of the week may be spent on field visits.

Electric-Substation Project Manager
Position Summary:

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Project Manager will be the main point of contact for clients along with all project deliveries.
Responsible for full accountability of all financial tracking and engineering duties on all assigned projects.
Understand and manage contractual scope of work requirements for assigned projects and milestone deliverables.
Prepare and maintain project budgets including weekly/monthly cost and forecast spend.
Prepare and maintain project construction schedules.
Manage and negotiate change orders affecting schedule and cost impacts your projects.
Schedule and coordinate scope of work with adequate guidance.
Responsible for project planning, execution, and performance.
Responsible for the overall contract performance.
Develop project estimate for initial project funding based on initial project scope of work.
Support project submittals related to environmental, permits, client review and design-engineering.
Experience with electrical practices, codes, and procedures within the industry knowledge.
Support with field inspections, measurements or calculations.
Qualifications:
Required Education, Skills, Training and Experience
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Business Management or equivalent field experience
Strong spoken and written communication skills, excellent organization, and time management skills and able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, problem solving with strong technical ability to support electric substation projects.
Substation and Power experience
