McKesson seeks a seasoned leader to serve as an Associate Director for the newly formed Enterprise Quality Management function, reporting to the SVP, Enterprise Quality Management. This new function provides quality and regulatory support for the wide variety of businesses within the McKesson enterprise. The Associate Director will serve as a QMS Subject Matter Expert, support activities of the Enterprise Quality Management team and engage with businesses to strategically identify Quality enabled value drivers. Responsibilities for the Associate Director include, but are not limited to: Support creation and sustain measurements involved with implementation of the Enterprise QMS. Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulations, and standards. Work directly with operating entities to provide process analyses on a continuing basis to identify risks and opportunities and enforce requirements and best practices. Ensure quality programs and documents are maintained. Support the implementation of select high priority strategic and operational initiatives. Ensure integration, inclusion, collaboration, alignment and clear communication with all internal stakeholders and external partners. Establish QRA operating mechanisms to ensure timelines are met and risks are properly mitigated. Support the development and implementation of a QRA dashboard ensuring performance commitments are met. Generate innovative solutions to highly complex problems where little clear precedence exists, and interface with operational teams to implement/deploy these solutions. Utilize data (Quantitative and Qualitative) to find insights, inform decisions, and identify opportunities both within and outside Quality organization. Partner with stakeholders to develop and deploy annual strategic priorities, goals, and objectives. Candidate Profile The Associate Director must be an accomplished, business-oriented professional who is proactive, confident, and action oriented. You must be comfortable influencing and executing through others and dealing with ambiguity. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of the healthcare quality and regulatory environment, with extensive knowledge of the FDA and the ability to programmatically operationalize FDA guidance across different businesses. Demonstrated consensus building, decision-making and interpersonal skills are essential. The successful candidate should be adaptable, able to reprioritize and shift gears quickly, comfortable in a high-pressure environment and be politically savvy, diplomatic, responsive and mature. Minimum Requirements : Requires 7 years of healthcare experience including some strategic planning and support of high-visibility, priority projects. A Bachelor s Degree is required for this position Other required knowledge and skills include : Minimum of 7 years of working experience in a healthcare company, preferably in a highly matrixed environment. Expertise in FDA and ISO regulations. Extensive prior experience to include strategic planning, support of high visibility projects, proven management of complex issues, projects, tasks, requests and timelines. Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, listening and presentation Experience in supporting senior executives.
