The Role:

The Data Analyst will work to collect, organize and transform raw data to support overall strategy, design, and structure for digital projects. The Data Analyst will play a vital support role as you collaborate on efforts to measure, tag, and deliver on client needs. You ll put your Google Analytics skills to the test and work to become a client-facing subject-matter expert.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Support overall strategy, design & structure for digital properties in measurement and tagging
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all online and web analytics data via continual monitoring, assessment, and auditing of site tracking and tags
• Identify data errors and opportunities, propose and implement solutions
• Coordinate with teams on tagging strategies for marketing campaigns
• Compile, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, expose new opportunities, and answer ongoing business questions
• Understand client objectives and underlying questions to define and implement meaningful KPIs to measure success
• Visualize data in reports that clearly convey meaningful insight to clients
• Communicate analytics finding and actionable recommendations to improve marketing performance to various levels of stakeholders
• Support management and upgrades of analytic tools based on the business needs
• Support design and creation of reporting dashboards that ensure data consistency
• Efficiently manage ad hoc requests in combination with long-term projects
• Be the advocate for the customer s online experience by continually reviewing sites performance and recommending areas for tracking optimizations
• Collaborate to define a framework for enhancing reporting and insights, including integration of customer journey focused metrics, attribution modeling, and enhanced ecommerce functionality

Who You Are:

• Passion for all things data with the ability to analyze, organize, and build data sets
• Strong understanding of data analytics ecosystems and optimization approaches that enhance the digital experience, customer journeys and channel related revenues
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, or similar data system, to organize, manage, transpose, and visualize data sets
• Strong analytics, decision-making, problem-solving skills and abilities. Loves puzzles, developing hypothesis, and finds enjoyment in solving them
• Previous exposure with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
• Understanding of digital marketing strategies, best practices, tactics and the tools to measure them
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and/or Google Suite (Sheets, Gmail, Docs)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- well organized, meet deadlines, and have an effective work ethic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you can make a clear case for what you're suggesting, and why, based on the data and research
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple analytical projects, develop project plans, and communicate with various levels of management
• Business savvy with the ability to think critically and strategically
• Driven mentality with a hunger to learn new skills and a passion for growth
• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and SQL, is a plus
• Working knowledge, or experience, working with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI, is a plus
• Marketing agency experience, a plus
