The Opportunity


Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Global Sales Manager to join our Hyatt Sales Force Global Enterprise team where you ll join a team of 15 sales professionals who love what they do. The Global Sales Manager will work in tandem with the Global Directors who implement and oversee the organization s sales strategy, strategic objectives and tactics/initiatives for our Global Enterprise Accounts. This manager position will have an emphasis on group/transient business and the connecting of RFP s to individual hotel properties.


In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Hyatt Sales Force and individual hotel teams where you ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. Qualifications


The Role


Responsibilities include working in tandem with the Global Directors who implement and oversee Hyatt s sales strategy, strategic objectives, and tactics/initiatives for our Global Enterprise Accounts. This position will be responsible for developing and nurturing long term strategic global accounts/relationships with a focus on increasing revenue. New business development and brand awareness globally is also key to supporting our hotels through proactive sales missions, tradeshows/events and hotel familiarization trips. This is a remote position and the individual reports directly to the Global Sales Directors Global Enterprise Team.


Responsibilities also include:


  • Create and maintain strategic account/actions plans for each account that will include, quota targets, customer engagement, key tactics to grow account revenue globally, annual & quarterly account reviews, promotions and B2B marketing opportunities.
  • Support worldwide hotels sales needs based on agreed priorities and anticipated business levels.
  • Work very closely with all Hyatt Sales Force (HSF) offices to retain and expand the HSF s Key accounts.
  • Pre-qualify and target Key Accounts in assigned segment, utilizing Envision database and develop appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies to increase market share.
  • Be the one-stop shop problem solver for all assigned HSF accounts.
  • Manage annual RFP process.
  • Entertain potential and current customers based on business priorities.
  • Ensure a high level of exposure through direct sales solicitation, telephone contact and written communications.
  • Ensure that Sales Contracts follow established Policies and Procedures and are based on sound commercial judgment.
  • Maintain an awareness of market developments / customer trends.
  • Assist visiting hotel representative s set-up appointments and Sales Calls.
  • Assist new Hotels to identify and acquire potential Accounts.
  • Help to organize and coordinate the familiarization trips.
  • Conduct Product Presentations to increase awareness with Key Accounts.
  • Prepare Monthly Activities Report, Production Report and MICE Report when needed.
  • Very strong follow up, organizational skills and leadership skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, good use of initiative, is a team player, personable, discreet and reliable.


Qualifications


Experience Required:


  • At least 3 years related industry experience.
  • Has worked within hotel sales operations.
  • Strong understanding of the Global travel and a network of contacts.


Experience Preferred:


  • Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Hotels and Sales Practices.
  • MS Office, Lanyon and Envision preferred.
