Where you’ll work:
Our hybrid workplace model offers the freedom to work fully remote or occasionally in one of our offices. This is a remote position with a hybrid option for candidates based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

How you’ll contribute:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll be responsible for responsible for supporting critical processes related to GAAP and statutory financial reporting, which includes the development and maintenance of expense prorates. The individual will also be responsible for administration within BPC Cost Center Planning system, which includes the maintenance and copy functionality. They interact directly with various areas of the organization, answering questions and providing information accurately; and uses sound judgement to make effective decisions.

In this role, you’ll get to:
• Development and maintenance of financial models with multiple inputs from financial systems to calculate expense prorates across legal entities and products.
• Monthly maintenance of prorates by reviewing submitted prorate changes, compiling and loading prorates in SAP and validating system allocated results
• Review monthly allocation results for unallocated balances and perform research on identified anomalies
• Administration within BPC Cost Center Planning system, which includes maintenance of benefit and payroll tax factors and copy functionality
• Prepare financial reports by downloading information from multiple sources; compile databases and formulate spreadsheets; interpret trends and analyze results
• Documents processes, procedures, and metrics. Identify, implement, or strengthen internal controls in existing/new processes
• Maintain a sound internal control environment in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) surrounding expense allocations
• Performs other duties as assigned or required

We’re looking for people who have:
• Effective business analytical abilities, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience working with SAP, BPC, PaPM and Analysis for Office is a plus, but not required
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks under aggressive timelines
• Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively
• Proactive work style
• Positive attitude and team player
• 2-4 years financial analysis in a public or private company environment. Insurance industry experience is a plus
• BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
