*This is a Local to Houston, Texas position. Please do not apply unless you are able to travel Monday through Friday to our downtown office located in the Greenway Plaza area at 3800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX. This position is not remote.*
We have available positions for a Clinical Data Abstraction role, where you will help transfer data from one electronic health record (EHR) system to another. In addition to medical chart abstraction, you will be working one-on-one with various physicians, gathering the data needed for their respective clinic. This is a contract position paying $17 per hour, with an estimate of 40 hours per week based on your availability beginning ASAP up to 7+ months in duration. This begins as a contract position (1099). We are seeking motivated self-starters with strong computer/technological skills. Upon completion of this role, there will be a greater opportunity to grow into an EHR Go-Live Support Specialist based upon your performance and reviews.
Please note, this position is not remote; travel to the office Monday through Friday is required - no weekends or nights. Our office is in the Greenway Plaza region, 10 minutes from the Medical Center in Houston, Texas. We will provide training for this position and PPE (masks, sanitizer, wipes, etc.) will be supplied. Free, secure parking is available.

Medical terminology background is a plus.
Must be excellent with typing skills & pay attention to detail within medical charts
Prior experience in healthcare is a plus.
Self-starter with strong communication skills.
Ability to work Monday through Friday at our office in Houston. (Ability to work extended hours also an option, not mandatory.) Shift time: 8:30a-4:30p
Resources need to be able to efficiently type with quality work.
