Summary
Function as an integral member of an interdisciplinary Palliative Care team whose purpose is to relieve suffering (in all its dimensions) and enhance quality of life and support for children living with life-threatening conditions and/or complex chronic conditions and their families. Provide skilled assessment, interventions, and consultations as an active member of the team. Advocate for interventions that alleviate the burdens of disease and enhance coping for children with life-threatening conditions and their families. Possess a good understanding of community services, resources, and programs available to children living with life-threatening conditions and their families.

Education & Experience
- Master s degree in Social Work required
- LCSW preferred.
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with children living with life-threatening conditions and/or complex chronic conditions and their families, hospice and/or end-of-life care and related situations.
- Demonstrated experience in working well with interdisciplinary care teams.
- Adheres to NASW Code of Ethics.
- Participates in professional development activities (especially those pertinent to pediatric Palliative Care).
- Spanish speaking preferred.
- Maintain current Texas License for LMSW
