Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of the software life cycle including but not limited to reviewing project requirements, design technical solutions, scoping, planning, implementation, documentation, testing, delivery, and maintenance.
  
• Participate in and be a contributing member of daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  
• Write, review and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, product specifications and training materials.


• Utilize Git version control
  
• Identify and resolve software issues through debugging, research and investigation.


• Provide remote and onsite support of software problems.


• The team uses several different technologies in our development stack across multiple clients and projects. These include:
  
  • Frontend – Angular
  
  
  • Backend – C#, Java, Spring Boot
  
  
  • Database –SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis
  
  
  • Build: Jenkins
  
  
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes
  
  
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

Qualifications and Required Skills

Candidates for this position must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years’ experience in software development OR 5 years’ experience in software development


• In depth knowledge of C# .NET and/or Java.


• Experience working with relational databases
  
• Experience with REST API design and implementation


• Experience developing frontend in Angular is a plus


• Experience with Spring Boot is a plus


• Experience with setting up or leveraging DevOps pipelines is a plus


• Knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform is a plus


• Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations


• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Physical / Mental Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


• Basic computational skills
