The Mechanical Design Engineer will engineer and design lifting devices to given specifications that will solve a customer’s unique problem while instilling confidence and comfort in the customer that the device can safely and repeatedly complete its designated task without failure.

Education
A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Structural Engineering, or related discipline is required; in the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in an engineering role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement
Experience & Skills
- Solidworks design experience required
- Knowledge of strength of materials properties
- Excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable in a team-based work environment
- Solid written and verbal communication skills (Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization)
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills
- Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
