Technical Program Management Senior Advisor (Security Focused)

PowerFlex Engineering team in the

What youll achieve


As a Technical Program Management Senior Advisor, you will focus on the Operational Security processes and deliverables of the PowerFlex Software and Platform releases.

You will also manage and drive the implementation of lab and network security related requirements for the PowerFlex engineering teams.

You will work closely with product management, extended engineering teams and corporate security teams to achieve the required security objectives.

You will have an opportunity to manage the entire security lifecycle, from design to delivery, of highly complex, multi-component projects.


You will:

  • Manage operational security processes for PowerFlex
  • Ensure coordination of PSIRT responses for all product offerings including timely assessments and in-market release integration
  • Drive Dell Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) compliance requirements, assessment & reporting
  • Support development teams, security SMEs for security implementations (scan cadence, assessments and actions, dev/ops integration) during development process create/maintain/manage plans & timelines
  • Manage process & co-ordination with extended development teams (Common M&O, SDNAS) for operational security requirements co-ordinated security response, patch release planning, proactive security
  • Manage implementation of Dell corporate lab security requirements with the PowerFlex engineering teams
  • Manage process, ensure compliance, identify gaps, track issues/resolution
  • Interface with Primary storage and lab security workstream teams bi-directional communication, reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement and implementation of Dell and industry best practices to ensure PowerFlex meets or exceeds its security commitments

Essential Requirements

  • 6-8 years of technical project/program management experience in software or complex system projects
  • Experience with operational security processes and industry product security requirements
  • Experience working and leading projects developed using Agile methodology
  • Experience and knowledge of issue/ticket tracking systems and project management tools (e.g. Jira)

Desirable Requirements
Bachelors degree
