Human Resources/Accounting Coordinator
Summary:
Under the general direction of the Manager of Human Resources and Controller, the HR/Accounting Coordinator this position will be responsible for being the first point of contact answering HR general inquiries from employees, supporting recruitment activities, new employee orientation, data management, employee events and the HR Intranet and newsletter. This position will also support our Finance department by collaborating with other team members and providing basic administrative support.

Payroll (30%)
Human Resources (20%)
Accounting (50%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
5 years of Payroll/HR experience.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent writing skills.
Excel knowledge, Basic O360 knowledge.
ADP experience a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school education with minimum 2 years of field experience.

Human Resources/Accounting Coordinator
Summary:

Roles/Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Payroll (30%)
- Manage the company’s bi-weekly payroll processing, primary contact for payroll questions.
- Prepares and distributes physical paychecks as necessary.
- Supports leave of absence management, tracking and accurate compensation.
- Work with managers to ensure payroll is finalized timely and accurately Manages payroll deductions, garnishments, time off accruals and HRIS data management in ADP.
- Audit and verify the accuracy of all personnel action forms and special payroll items and record appropriately.
- Act as a resource to all associates to discuss and resolve payroll and benefit issues.
- Knowledge of California payroll and employment laws.
Human Resources (20%)
- Assist with recruiting by posting open position and sourcing candidates.
- Benefits administration- expected to learn benefits program and be able to assist employees with basic questions.
- Plan, organize, and/or assist with company events and celebrations.
- Prepare and maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable laws, audit guidelines and company standards.
- Training- assign and track employee training and maintain learning management system.
- Create ID badges for new hires and current employees.
Accounting (50%)
- Collaborate with Financial Team Members to execute various accounting tasks.
- Scan and Process Invoices through Invoice Flow.
- Send out payment remittances and monitor general accounting email.
- Manage receipts for expense reports.
- Filing.
- Sending out collection notices to customers with past due invoices.
- Data Entry when required.
- Manage Iron Mountain requests.
- Create purchase requestions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
5 years of Payroll/HR experience.
