Total Compensation
$55,000-75,000 plus a Sales Performance Bonus


The Inside Sales Representative will maintain long-term, trusting relationships with our partners and end-user businesses. You will respond to both, new and existing incoming inquiries and sales orders from the entire channel of resellers, end-users, and distribution. The ISR will act in tandem with their assigned Channel Account Manager(CAM) for their existing customers’ queries and increase client satisfaction. You will be a crucial member of a growing channel sales team that works together to ensure an excellent partner and end-user experience.

This role allows you to work remotely anywhere in the Eastern or Central time zone. This person’s responsibility will be to support your CAMs revenue goals set by leadership and support existing team members.

The ideal candidate will have or is currently working for a reseller, distributor, or another vendor in the IT/tech channel.

In this role, you will support the selling of Plugable's line of USB products for the connected desk to resellers in the channel. You will use your critical thinking and experience to identify and address client needs and deliver best-in-class experience while executing Plugable’s go-to-market strategy. The candidate must be self-motivated, a team player, and enjoy customer interaction.


  • Sales Engagement –Maintain and build strong relationships virtually with new and existing Partner Sales Teams at all inquiry levels, including Account Reps and all sales support functions

  • Follow-up on Bids – working closely with your CAM, you will liaise with partner Account Reps and leverage your ability to qualify and recommend Plugable solutions for high-volume opportunities and process related discounts through Distribution partners

  • Order Processing – Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs and objectives, update the pipeline and process orders with clients

  • Communication– Assist with client requests, and ensure timely contact with customers to understand their requirements. Ensure prompt and accurate answers to end-user, resellers, and distribution regarding availability, order status and technical compatibility

  • Product Promotion– Provide relevant product information as required by the customer to support sales opportunities

  • Revenue Performance – Serve as a key member of the Sales team with a focus on obtaining sales goals

  • Product Knowledge - Maintain an understanding of the Plugable product assortment and leverage the tools and support available to ensure a best-in-class customer partner experience

  • Data – Utilize and leverage available data to recommend the best solutions and make the best decisions

  • CRM – Utilize and maintain partner insights and relevant data within Plugable’s CRM and ticketing tool

  • Team Interactions– Attend daily, weekly and monthly checkpoint meetings with management for opportunities, escalations and knowledge sharing

  • Sales Operations Support – Serve as backup support to Sales Operations Coordinator and be fully cross-trained in the role


  • Knowledge – Understand how the IT Channel operates throughout the value chain that includes vendors, distributors and resellers

  • Experience Working Remote – Prior experience working efficiently and effectively in a remote home office

  • Resiliency– Ability to follow policies/processes of a growing sales organization and adaptability to changing processes within a scaling business

  • Technical Business Skills – Experience working with a CRM, spreadsheet proficiency and experience working within a Google Docs environment are beneficial

  • 3-5 years of B2B IT Channel experience

  • Experience working with Zoho CRM or similar

  • Experience supporting key accounts in a remote environment

  • Experience using GSuite (preferred)

  • Experience selling within the IT channel for a vendor, distributor, and or reseller

  • Technology hardware sales experience is a HUGE plus!


  • Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree and/or a mix of education and successful work experience
