The Role at a Glance:

We are thrilled to bring on a Sr. Full Stack Developer for a remote position.

This position will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for assigned area(s) of application development responsibility. In this role you will act as a resource and develop more complex innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post production support. You will also deliver more complex business application software solutions following the system development life cycle process.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate in the creation of a roadmap for transforming legacy data solution into a cloud-based API and ETL enabled data platform.

  • Using tools such as; GitLab (Issues, GitLab CI/CD Pipelines) to maintain source code, drive operations, collaboration, and code review to ensure the development of high-performance, scalable, and resilient software components.

  • Leveraging enterprise Dev-Ops tools and creating pipelines.

  • Analyzing, designing, coding, debugging, integrating and testing increasingly complex software application solutions in alignment to roadmap and Enterprise Architecture.

  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with Leadership to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

  • Stay abreast of development and trends in cloud architectures, web dev and programming issues.

  • Support the organization mission transforming legacy applications to AWS cloud.

  • Mentors team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on current and emerging developments/trends.

  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure that systems are designed, developed and implemented from a business point of view.

  • Consulting and/or participating in the requirements, design and coding walkthroughs to ensure the development of quality solutions.

  • Carrying out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complying with all company and site policies and procedures.

  • Making a positive contribution as demonstrated by making suggestions for improvement and continuing to learn new skills, procedures and processes.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience in application development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)

  • 5+ years of experience in design and development of operational data stores, data warehouses and DataMart s (Required)

  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on development with Python or an equivalent Object-oriented programming language (Java, .Net, etc.) (Required)

  • Sr Level knowledge of relational database systems / Data integrity concepts and data standardization (Required)

  • Strong fundamentals in data modeling Conceptual, Logical, and Physical designs including NoSQL, relational, snowflake, and star schemas (Required)

  • Big Data NoSQL, Hive, HBase, Pig, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redshift, Cloud integrations (Plus)

  • Experience in developing ETL mappings using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica BDM (Plus)

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering

  • Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend processes improvements.
