SUMMARY
Manufacture Automation Software Engineer that design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks.
JOB DUTIES
- Work with Manufacture Engineering team to improve existing manufacturing processes. The main responsibility is to increasing production line efficiency, productivity, and quality through automated processes. Troubleshoot software related issues and take corrective/preventive actions.
- Work with R&D team to develop automatic production steps in NPI process (New Product Introduction) and create control system through LabVIEW or other programming software to meet new product requirements.
- Provide feedback to mechanical design colleagues on existing or newly designed system with mechanical related issues. Monitor/participate in the commissioning and post-maintenance of the automation system.
- Other manufacture related duties as needed or required up to 50% of the working time.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related discipline is required
EXPERIENCE
- 1 or more years of experience in programming and engineering work is required.
- Knowledge of LabVIEW programming, Imaging Processing, C++, VBA, Python, or circuit design experience is desired.
- Robust analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all business levels and functions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Quick learner with initiative.
