About us
Virun is a full scale, product development research company, manufacturer and finished product co-packer. We focus on patented food and beverage technologies, with an emphasis on natural Biotechnology for fats, oils, non-polar (water insoluble) compounds, probiotics and proteins. With over 80 patents and patents-pending world-wide, our technologies range from our emulsion technology for fats and oils, such as our O3Omega® Smoothies (attached O3-Sell-Sheet and Product References Overall), natural patented emulsifiers allowing fats and oils to be stable in water and beverages, such as our Esolv® Technology (attached Esolv – Liposomal Micelle…). We also have biotechnology that allows oils, fats, nonpolar compounds and proteins to be delivered with greater bioavailability, such as our DPtechnology®, as compared to not using our technologies. Our Probiferrin® patented technology stabilizes probiotics by conjugating probiotics to Lactoferrin
We have over 300 products on the market, worldwide. VIRUN has experienced significant growth the past 3 years due to the demand and markets needing niche products to compensate the over-saturated commodities markets. We have developed major brands using our technologies (refer to attached Product References Overall…). Our entry to the market has altered the manner in which foods, beverages and dietary supplements are delivered, with a focus on flavor, experiences and efficacy. Not only have we co-developed these brands, we own what it is they are selling, allowing us skin-in-the-game, not just a “contract manufacturer” or typical co-packer. We private label manufacture and own what it is we make. We also have our own brands. O3Omega Smoothies are our own brand, which we also largely private label. For example, our NOT Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich O3Omega
Responsibilities:
- Manage AP/AR
- Review and ensure the work from our Jr. accountant is correct and accurate
- Oversee inventory, including maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, create BOM, and build assemblies in QuickBooks/NetSuite
- Assist in managing company’s fixed assets, include tracking and maintaining the depreciation schedule
- Track commissions
- Perform general bookkeeping as needed
- Assist in month-end / year-end close process
- Assist in other projects as needed
